Camp PJ is more than a program.
It is a legacy of compassion that is rooted in my brother’s heart and built for every child who just needs one safe place to begin again.

Here, we believe children aren’t problems to manage.
They’re people to understand, and when you give them emotional safety, creativity, nature, and purpose-driven guidance, they grow into adults who can shape their world with courage.

Camp PJ is for the child who feels forgotten.
The teen who feels lost.
The young adult who needs a steady hand.

This is where they find their center.
This is where they remember who they are.
This is where their story begins again.

THE CAMP PJ STORY

Camp PJ was born from a truth many kids live but rarely name:

Some children grow up carrying more than their hearts were meant to hold.
They survive, but they don’t get a place to heal.
They grow older, but they don’t get direction.
They move forward, but never feel guided.

My brother, Phillip Jr., was one of those children.

He was compassionate, loyal, protective, and deeply sensitive. He was a young man with a powerful heart who spent his life trying to hold together the pieces others left behind. Everyone who met him felt blessed to witness the integrity of his spine and the love in his eyes.

We both struggled, in our own ways, but my little brother taught me how to hold dignity alongside pain.

Like many youth from unstable or underserved backgrounds,
he never had the emotional support, structure, or opportunities he deserved.

Camp PJ exists to change that story for the next generation.

We give kids what we both needed growing up:

  • emotional safety

  • belonging

  • leadership

  • purpose

  • connection

  • a chance to rediscover their innocence

  • a path toward adulthood with confidence and direction
